Course Description

This practicum course provides an applied framework for understanding and implementing data analytics within the sport industry. Students will engage in individual or collaborative projects addressing authentic analytical challenges in sport contexts. Through these projects, students will integrate analytical knowledge with practical application, critically examining how quantitative methods and data-driven approaches inform strategic and evidence-based decision-making.
Prerequisites CS 1110, CS 1112 or STSCI 2110.

- Apply analytical frameworks to sport industry datasets, demonstrating how data-driven insights inform strategic and operational decisions.
