Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.

Topics include queueing works, positive recurrence, Foster-Lyapunov drift condition, fluid limits, fluid model calculus, max-weight controls, piecewise-deterministic Markov process, basic adjoint relationship,  rate of  convergence for steady-state diffusion approximations, and Stein's method. Applications include Uber driver network, customer call centers, patient flow management, data switches, single- and  multi-hop packet networks.
