Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.
This course provides an introduction to finance. Basic financial accounting, time value of money, stock and bond valuation, capital budgeting, portfolio theory, asset pricing models, cost of capital, capital structure and real options will be covered. Application of theory and practical applications will be stressed in lectures.
When Offered Fall, spring.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: Non-Johnson School Graduate Students, seniors and juniors only. Graduate students have first priority in the event the course is oversubscribed.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite for spring only: a course in financial accounting.
Comments Similar in content to M.B.A. core course NCC 5060.

Non-Johnson Students ONLY: August 16th at 8:00am to September 6th at 4:00pm. A late fee of $100.00 will be charged for each add or drop transaction. If you are dropping after October 18th you will also receive a "W" on your transcript in addition to the late fees.
