Modern datacenters with thousands of servers and multi-megawatt power budgets form the backbone of our digital universe. In this course, we will survey a broad spectrum of datacenter design topics from workloads, to server architecture and management infrastructure. The course will be a combination of lectures that will cover areas including datacenter hardware, software, programming models and cloud applications, and paper-based in-class discussions on the latest advances in datacenter research.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisites: ECE 4750 or equivalent, computer systems, comfortable with C++ programming.
