Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.
Integration of mammalian cell biology with engineering modeling principles, put into the context of medical pathology and disease states. Consists of three modules: (1) cell culture techniques/receptor ligand interactions, (2) cellular trafficking, and (3) signal transduction.
When Offered Fall.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: course work in basic biology such as BIOMG 1350, BIOG 1440 or BIOG 1445, BIOMG 3300 or BIOMI 2900 plus mathematics through differential equations (e.g., MATH 2210 or MATH 2940), or permission of instructor.
Regular Academic Session. Choose one lecture and one laboratory. Combined with: CHEME 4010
