Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.
This course examines students' own planned career in the hospitality industry. An important goal is for students to rigorously assess-or reassess-their career interests and to map a detailed career plan for the first 10 years of their professional lives. The course draws from theories of career development to help students meaningfully prepare for their entry into the workforce, as well as determine ways they can make their industry imprint as future hospitality leaders and innovators. It integrates with our other course offerings in the Organizational Behavior/Human Resource area; it specifically builds from topics introduced in both HADM 1150 and HADM 2810 and complements the topics taught in the Leadership in the Hospitality Industry elective.
