Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2019-2020.
The molecular diagnostic methods learned in PLSCI 4300 will be applied to survey for grapevine diseases in Chile's Valle Central, where most of the country's wine production is located. Students will have the opportunity to interact with fellow students, faculty, scientists, and growers during a two-week winter-break period split between the lab and field. It is expected that students will finish with a broader worldview and greater confidence to speak, work and study in a foreign language.
