Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2015-2016.
This course will better prepare college students to learn how to engage with reading differently in the context of their courses and ultimately in their professions beyond their college careers. This course focuses on developing skills and knowledge to read more efficiently, effectively, critically and evaluatively.

Outcomes
- Read more effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrate increased ability to apply reading strategies to the text in their college courses.
- Develop more flexibility as a reader.
- Critically think about what they read.
- Recognize different types of text and describe appropriate uses for them.
