Building Legal Tech Ventures

This course offers Cornell Tech students a broad overview of building a legaltech company from the founder perspective. Each week, a founder will join class to share how they developed a different functional area of their business, including product management, sales and marketing, and building the initial team. Through this course, students will gain an understanding of the opportunities and challenges of building a legaltech company and what specific roles may interest them within the legaltech ecosystem. They will also gain an appreciation for the strategic considerations and tactics necessary for building technology for legal professionals and consumers.
