Topic - Farm to Fashion ----------- This course will center around a 3-day field trip during the first few days of Spring break to Washington County, NY. Students will observe and contribute to the farm to fashion pipeline, meeting fiber producing animals, farmers, wool processors, yarn manufacturers, textile & fashion designers, and garment manufacturers to learn each step along the supply chain. The knowledge gained from this engagement will be used to assess and trouble shoot the feasibility of building a farm to fashion school pipeline for fashion and textile programs.
