This course will provide an in-depth look at the underlying mechanistic principles that govern cellular adhesion and interaction on biomaterial surfaces. We will discuss novel engineering strategies used to create biomimetic materials for desired cellular interactions. The course will heavily incorporate readings from primary scientific literature.


Prerequisites BME 3010 and BME 2210 or equivalent, or permission of instructor.

Enrollment Priority Enrollment preference given to: BME M.Eng students.
