Engineering the Human Body: From Artificial Joints to Living Organs

This course surveys the evolution of medical implants from inert, passive devices.to active and living structures. Course is open to seniors and graduate students with background knowledge in biomaterials, cell biology and physiology.


Prerequisites BME 3010 and BME 3210 or equivalent.
