RUSSA 1131 and RUSSA 1132 cover the standard Cornell first-year Russian language curriculum at a slower pace than RUSSA 1103 -RUSSA 1104 and RUSSA 1121 -RUSSA 1122, the pace to be chosen by each individual student in consultation with the instructor. Somewhat larger homework reading, writing, and online assignments with fewer and shorter meetings with the instructors in very small groups. Satisfies Requirement RUSSA 1131 and RUSSA 1132 count towards satisfying the Arts & Sciences foreign language requirement in the same way as RUSSA 1121 -RUSSA 1122 and RUSSA 1103 -RUSSA 1104 under Option 2 (completing 11-credits/units, no matter how many semesters it takes).

Comments Recommended for students who cannot commit to the standard RUSSA courses because of unusually busy schedules or other reasons. May be taken more than once. Course offered when department has available resources.
