It the world's biggest treasure hunt! You might not know it but people have been hiding boxes of treasure all over the world for you to find, even in your neighborhood. Come learn to how to find their secret locations, what do do with them, and even make one of your own. This course will introduce students to a bit of map reading and use of a GPS in a natural setting. No experience is necessary. Students should come to class prepared to be outside for the entire class length. No experience necessary.

When Offered Fall, Spring.

Fees Course fee: $235 for instruction/ travel.

Satisfies Requirement Satisfies one PE requirement if taken as PE. First class is required, students must attend all classes to receive PE credit.

  • Instruction Mode: In Person
    Course fee: $235. The first class meeting will briefly meet on campus in Bartels Hall, room B01 and then travel to other areas around Ithaca, NY. Other classes will first meet at Bartels Hall and then head right out to other areas around Ithaca. Transportation is provided for classes off campus.
    Drop Deadline: Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Students will be responsible for the course fee and assessed a $50 administrative fee if they do not drop by the deadline.
