This independent study course offers economics majors (i.e., undergraduates whose applications to affiliate with the economics major have been approved) an opportunity to reflect on concepts from economics as they were encountered and applied in a recent internship. Students write a short paper describing their work experience and how it connects to the educational objectives of the economics major.

    Enrollment limited to: Economics majors working in the summer in a country other than that of their citizenship. International students may use this course as part of Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Prior to registering for the course, students must obtain a summer internship offer and international Students MUST submit the completed CPT application to the International Students and Scholars Office (ISSO). Once the application is approved the updated I-20 work authorization will be available at the ISSO.
