Course Description

In addition to preparing students for veterinary medicine, a degree in Animal Science is excellent background for careers in agricultural production, education, marketing, communications, and policy development, in both private and public sectors. In this course, students explore these opportunities and develop professional skills that will aid them in career planning.
When Offered Fall.
Permission Note Enrollment preference given to: first-year and transfer students.
Comments Taking the 1 credit version of this course will satisfy the core course requirement for ANSC students, however, students interested in extra support on this topic are encouraged to enroll in the 2 credit version. Differences between the 1 and 2 credit version will be discussed further in the first meeting with the option to adjust enrollment.
