“I can write!” is a crash course in scientific and professional writing for the life sciences. We will cover written products pertinent to scholarly output, professional development, and life after grad school, spanning in-depth coverage of peer-reviewed papers to job applications. The course is formed around three learning modules: 1) Write the paper; 2) Self-promote; and 3) Get the Job. The course will empower students with the background, tools, and knowledge that form the foundation of impactful and successful written communication broadly, while covering specific applications encountered by researchers in the life sciences.
