This course offers a critical perspective on European labor relations. Europe is often compared positively to the US in terms of the residual strength of its industrial relations institutions and employment protection legislation. However, over the last decades European industrial relations have undergone significant changes, at the national, sectoral and supranational level. Over seven weeks, the course offers an overview and an assessment of such changes.
