HADM 4770

This course is taught in a 'flipped' environment. It focuses on organizational systems, planning, and the decision process and how information is used for decision support in organizations. Students are provided with practical skills in developing spreadsheet computer models using Microsoft Excel. Topics include business planning and forecasting, numerical methods, advanced formulas and functions, user-interface design, data protection and validation, importing external data, and output presentation.

Permission Note Enrollment preference given to: NSHA students. Not open to: first-year students.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: HADM 1740, HADM 2740, AEM 2010, FSAD 2880, or ILRID 2660. 
Forbidden Overlaps Forbidden Overlap: due to an overlap in content, students will receive credit for only one course in the following group: HADM 4770, HADM 6770, ILRID 4699, ILRID 6990.

Comments Nolan students must take HADM 4770/HADM 6770. Please note: this course requires the use of a Windows machine. Using Mac's version of Excel is not allowed.
