C.W. (Cho Whang) TaeKwonDo of Ithaca conducts the course. At least one semester of PE TaeKwonDo or equivalent is required.  The purpose of the program is to teach TaeKwonDo in its diverse aspects as a form of self-defense, as an art form, and as a competitive sport. Classes will consist of extensive stretching, the teaching of basics to beginners, forms of self-defense, and sparring techniques. TaeKwonDo emphasizes the use of the whole body, enhances flexibility and coordination and increases aerobic capability. Promotional tests are held at the end of each semester.
