Financial modeling is the art and science of constructing spreadsheet models of firms' future financial statements. This class draws on and integrates students' knowledge of concepts learned in prior accounting classes by modeling the effect on the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows of financial transactions such as leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations.

    Johnson MBA students are not eligible to take this class, as it is duplicative of the MBA core. Enrollment limited to: MPS in Management and Graduate students who have permission. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Add/Drop Dates: January 17th at 9:00am to January 30th at 11:59pm • You may only add or drop January 30th with permission of the faculty AND a late fee of $100.00 will be charged for each add or drop transaction. • If you are dropping after February 20th you will also receive a "W" on your transcript in addition to the late fees.
