STSCI 2110

A second course in statistics that emphasizes applications to the social sciences. Topics include simple linear regression, multiple linear regression (theory, model building, and model diagnostics), and the analysis of variance. Computer packages are used extensively.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: STSCI 2100 or equivalent introductory statistics course.
Forbidden Overlaps Forbidden Overlap: due to an overlap in content, students will receive credit for only one course in the following group: BTRY 3020, ILRST 2110, STSCI 2110, STSCI 3200.
