An investigation of the systems and software that capture and store economic information, and of the tools and techniques that support a robust use of that data for the benefit of individual enterprises and greater society.  Topics include "Big Data", Data Visualization, Optimization Tools, and Support Systems and Databases.  Modules on emergent systems, including Blockchain and AI are also engaged.

  • Instruction Mode: In Person
    The Instructor for this section will be teaching In Person. Johnson MBA students are not eligible to take this class, as it is duplicative of the MBA core. Enrollment limited to: MPS in Management and Graduate students who have permission. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Students adding or dropping this course after February 15, 2021 will be assessed a fee of $100. The deadline to drop the class without a “W” is March 8, 2021 @11:59pm but you will still be charged the $100 late fee.
