Financial modeling is the art and science of constructing spreadsheet models of firms' future financial statements. This class draws on and integrates students' knowledge of concepts learned in prior accounting classes by modeling the effect on the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows of financial transactions such as leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. The class meets in the state-of-the-art Parker Center computer lab, and active student participation is emphasized.

  • Instruction Mode: In Person
    The Instructor for this section will be teaching In Person. Johnson MBA students are not eligible to take this class, as it is duplicative of the MBA core. Enrollment limited to: MPS in Management and Graduate students who have permission. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Students adding or dropping this course after February 15, 2021 will be assessed a fee of $100. The deadline to drop the class without a “W” is March 8, 2021 @11:59pm but you will still be charged the $100 late fee.
