Continuation of CHIN 1109. Intended primarily for students whose family language is Mandarin but who have had little or no formal training. The focus is on characters, reading comprehension, composition, grammar, standard pronunciation, culture, and current events in the Chinese speaking community.

Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: CHIN 1109 or placement by instructor.

Comments Students who complete CHIN 1110 normally continue with CHIN 2209 and CHIN 2210.
