    Spr 21: The seminar will focus on metametaphysics and higher-order metaphysics. Metametaphysics concerns philosophical issues about metaphysics as a discipline. Higher-order metaphysics broadly concerns issues surrounding higher-order languages (languages with quantifiers over something other than objects; e.g., sets, properties, propositions, pluralities, etc.). Potential topics include: metaontology, verbal disputes, grounding, absolute generality, necessitism, opacity, and analysis
