Students who have been accepted into the honors research program work on their projects under the guidance of their faculty mentors. Honors research students must complete a minimum of 6 credits of NS 4990, typically spread over two or more semesters. The student and the mentor determine the appropriate number of credits for each semester. Research activities may include reviewing the literature, writing a proposal, developing research methods, collecting data in the field or laboratory, analyzing data, and writing the honors thesis. To enroll, please use a paper ADD form - please note that enrollment should be completed by the end of the ADD period.
