The Cayuga Fund Equity Analyst program is designed for students interested in pursuing careers in securities research and investment management.  This course allows select first year MBA students to participate in the management of the Cayuga Fund, a $1 million small-cap equity fund that invests money for the Cornell University endowment, under the guidance and mentorship of faculty and second year Cayuga Fund students who are taking NBA 5120 and NBA 5121.  Students are assigned industry sectors to cover, and conduct investment research on the industries. Deliverables include participating in sector meetings and portfolio reviews and presenting industry research in the NBA 5120 class.

Comments Students must meet with instructor Scott Stewart early in fall semester of the first year of the MBA program.  Successfully participate in the summer research prep program, Stock Pitch Camp or prospectus test; and complete the application process (managed by IMC and overseen by Scott Stewart).

    The instructor for this class will be teaching Virtually Contact instructor Scott Stewart (sds58@cornell.edu) for approval to enroll. Enrollment limited to: Johnson Students Only Hybrid: rotational in person attendance. You will be notified of your eligibility to attend in person and students should connect remotely until a seat is assigned. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Students dropping this course after February 22, 2021 will be assessed a fee of $100. The deadline to drop the class without a “W” is April 5, 2021 @11:59pm but you will still be charged the $100 late fee. This course is a Management Science Elective.
