The course provides an overview of several elements of entrepreneurial activity and private equity investment. You will engage in the customer discovery process for early stage ventures to learn how to develop a sustainable, scalable business model. As part of this course, you will apply your learnings from discussions in the classroom and participate on a team going through the experience of starting a company.

  • Instruction Mode: In Person
    Enrollment limited to: Undergraduate Seniors and Juniors only. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Students dropping this course after February 22, 2021 will be assessed a fee of $100. The deadline to drop the class without a “W” is April 5, 2021 @11:59pm but you will still be charged the $100 late fee. Students who cannot attend in person should enroll in the online section of this course.
    Enrollment limited to students who are able to attend in-person classes in the Ithaca area.
