We will use economics-based theories of markets and firms to understand business strategy. We will cover various aspects of business strategy: What are key drivers in your industry? How do you fit in it and how to you create a sustainable competitive advantage? How can you change the industry and what your rivals do it to your advantage?

Instruction Mode: Hybrid-Online and In Person
The Instructor for this section will be teaching In Person. Johnson MBA students are not eligible to take this class, as it is duplicative of the MBA core. Enrollment limited to: MPS in Management and Graduate students who have permission. Hybrid: rotational in person attendance. You will be notified of your eligibility to attend in person and students should connect remotely until a seat is assigned. There will be no enrollment from a wait list into a class if you have a time conflict or if it will create an overload. Students adding or dropping this course after February 15, 2021 will be assessed a fee of $100. The deadline to drop the class without a “W” is March 8, 2021 @11:59pm but you will still be charged the $100 late fee.
