Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2020-2021.
This course immerses students in the global leisure cruise industry—the economics, markets, and organizations that comprise the fastest-growing sector of the hospitality industry. The course features industry executives from a leading cruise company, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Ltd., who describe current practice in cruise finance, pricing, ship design, marketing, distribution, operations, and human resources management. Students conduct individual and team analyses that examine opportunities and challenges across the cruise industry.
When Offered Spring (Weeks 1-7).
Permission Note Enrollment open to: SHA sophomores, juniors, seniors and MMH students. Others by permission of the instructor.
Satisfies Requirement Satisfies HADM of free electives for SHA students.
