    This class is instructor permission only. Admitted students should have prior experience in environmental systems, programming, and computational design. This course will not include introductory programming and scripting workshops. It is expected that students have intermediate to advanced digital skills. Students will be exposed to a technical research methodology and a design approach that emphasizes evidence, rigorous variant testing, and evaluation in the design process using existing and custom-built computational tools. It is expected that students maintain an open mind and work with rigor and curiosity. Research and knowledge will be developed together in a collaborative environment.
