Introduction to the background and scientific principles relating to dairy cattle production. Laboratories are designed to provide an understanding of dairy cattle production.

Outcomes
  • Students will be introduced to current topics in dairy science as well as many of the social, economic, and ethical influences that steer the dairy industry at local and global levels.
  • Students will develop knowledge and skills related to dairy production through the application of concepts in laboratory and field settings.
