Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2019-2020.
In-depth look at bovine endoparasites of major importance in North America and Europe. Details of taxonomy, biology, epidemiology, pathology, host immunity, clinical presentation, and preventative and curative treatment. Consideration of efficacy of available parasiticides. Information from studies reported in primary literature will be reviewed where applicable.
When Offered Fall, Spring, Summer.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: VETMI 7440 or permission of instructor required.

Instruction Mode: Hybrid - Online & In Person
Enrollment limited to: MPS-Veterinary Parasitology students. Attendance on Saturday, March 7 from 7:30am - 3:30pm is required for all students. A schedule of the day’s learning activities (i.e. lectures, guest speakers, group work) will be provided upon arrival
