Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2019-2020.
This course is intended for advanced undergraduate students majoring in chemical biology and graduate students working in related areas. The course will discuss cutting-edge chemical biology research using examples from current literature. The topics include: common experimental approaches in chemical biology, chemical biology and epigenetics, chemical biology and signal transduction, chemical biology and drug discovery, chemical biology and genomic research, as well as soft skills such as how to give a research presentation and how to write a manuscript.
When Offered Spring.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: CHEM 3600 or equivalent, BIOMG 3300 or permission of instructor.
