  • This iconic research project has provided both basic insights into ecosystem dynamics as well as an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of the 3,000 ha Hubbard Brook ecosystem. In this 1-credit seminar students will use the online book, A Synthesis of Scientific Research at Hubbard Brook (https://hubbardbrook.org/online-book) to explore a suite of topics including, acid rain, forest productivity, soil C sequestration, hydrology, stream ecology, nutrient cycles, climate change and many more. Recommended: strong background in ecology and ecosystems
