This intensive weekend-long course pushes the boundaries of current design practices by developing a concept plan for an innovative environment in a nontraditional setting. Students work in multi-disciplinary teams to develop solutions and prepare design presentations for review by visiting design professionals. Typologies include: restaurants, pop-up venues, and user experience phenomena.

Fees Minimum cost of materials: $50.
Permission Note Enrollment limited to: 18 juniors and seniors. Priority given to: DEA seniors but hospitality and architecture students are encouraged to enroll.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: minimum of two design studios or permission of instructor.
