Introduction to Outdoor Rock Climbing

Course information provided by the 2017-2018 Catalog.

Learn basic rock climbing skills on real rock! We'll spend a glorious weekend climbing, camping, and relaxing at Minnewaska State Park in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. We will cover climbing equipment and technique, knots, belaying, rappelling, and natural history.  Two classes and a weekend trip to the Shawangunks.
