Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2016-2017.

We will consider social and ethical issues in AI, including some subset the following: potential job losses in AI; the ethics of computer making decisions on our behalf (perhaps using machine learning)' ethical issues involving robots, autonomous cars, and drones; and privacy and surveillance.  The course will run for 7-8 weeks.  Most weeks, there will be an initial one-hour lecture (typically offered by a specialist in some area), followed by a discussion session with the speaker.
