Understanding and changing organizational design and culture are essential to creating effective organizations. In this course, we will explore some of the central challenges and trade-offs managers face when designing organizational structures, managing organizational culture, and leading organizational change. We will also develop analytic skills that improve your ability to diagnose and manage problems and opportunities related to design, culture, and change. To do so, we will pair theory and research from sociology and social psychology with case studies and interactive exercises.
