Course Description

The overwhelming amount of information available today requires the ability to locate, access, evaluate, and effectively process the information. Using a variety of teaching approaches, students in HADM 2720 will become familiar with current information technologies and social media tools, such as blogs, e-book readers, Twitter, library databases, current awareness tools, etc. as they apply to information management in the 21st century. This class will not only provide the necessary groundwork for academic success, but will foster the development of lifelong analytical skills.
