Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2015-2016.
Introduction to MATLAB and scientific computing. Covers the MATLAB environment, assignment, conditionals, iteration, scripts, functions, arrays, scientific graphics, and vectorized computation. Assumes programming knowledge in a language like Java, C, C++, or Fortran.
When Offered Fall, spring.
Prerequisites/Corequisites Prerequisite: one course in programming.
Comments Fall: 5-week lecture-based course. Spring: 10-week auto-tutorial course.
Outcomes- The students will understand the basic MATLAB constructs and be able to write simple programs.
Regular Academic Session.
