VTMED 6619

Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.

This two-week course consolidates principles of clinical pathology and provides students with additional experience in using clinical pathology data to help with interpretation, diagnosis and management of clinical cases, through the use of archived and current clinical cases.  Students will become more experienced and confident in examining blood and cytology smears, interpreting electrophoretogram results and working through clinical case material.  There is substantial interaction with clinical pathology faculty, staff and residents.  The case material can be somewhat tailored to the students' areas of interest.

When Offered Fall, spring.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to third- and fourth-year veterinary students who have completed Foundation Course V.
