This is an introductory level course in small animal dentistry. Students will complete an online self-tutorial course that covers the basics of oral examination, intraoral radiography, oral pathology, periodontology, endodontics, orthodontics, restorative dentistry, and prosthodontics.  This will be complemented by one mandatory three-hour laboratory on a Saturday or Sunday covering regional analgesia techniques, and simple and surgical dental extractions.

When Offered Spring.

Permission Note Enrollment limited to: second-, third-, and fourth-year veterinary students who have completed Block III.
