This course will examine the institutional and regulatory changes taking place on both sides of the Atlantic in response to the global financial crisis. We will consider the economic rationales underlying emerging regulatory responses, with particular attention given to the implications of far-reaching economic reforms and their impact on labor law and growth. The course will provide a guide to understanding the links between financial stability, competitiveness, labor law and the changing face of global markets.
