Provides an introduction to the challenges posed by the movement of people across borders. Examines the links between globalization and migration, and explores the implications of contemporary migrations for national immigration and integration policies, labor markets, human rights, asylum, security, and politics. Regional and national cases will be drawn form Europe, North America, and Australia, among others.
