Course Description
Course information provided by the Courses of Study 2014-2015.
This course will examine the developmental transitions occurring between adolescence and adulthood in the United States. Students will learn about social, biological, and cognitive theories that chart individuals' transition into adulthood. In addition, we will explore factors contributing to or maintaining healthy adjustment during this period, and key demographic differences that shape how people experience of this period.

Forbidden Overlaps Forbidden Overlaps: For upper level undergraduate students: HD 1150 and HD 1170.
Outcomes
- Gain in depth knowledge of research covering developmental transitions to adulthood.
- Prepare written reviews and critiques of research.
- Lead in-class discussion / presentation of research.
