Course Description
Course information provided by the 2026-2027 Catalog.
Recreational Biking is for those who want to explore this gorgeous region by bike. Roads and bike paths will lead you right from campus to waterfalls, scenic views and ice cream! In addition to rides of 8-15 miles each day, you'll learn how to take care of your bike and make basic repairs. Rides will not be fast paced, but Ithaca has lots of hills, so reasonable physical fitness and the ability to comfortably ride a bike are essential. Pre-requisite: the class will travel 3-5 miles the first day, and increase in mileage from there. If you are not comfortable riding a bike yet, please consider PE1665 Learn To Bike.
Fees Course fee, $260. for instruction. Bike rentals available for an additional $60 fee.
