Deciphering DeFi: Legal, Governance and Economic Issues Facing Decentralized Finance Platforms

In this course, we explore the legal issues and policy considerations permeating blockchain, crypto, and crypto finance. This course will provide an introduction to blockchain and crypto, including both the technical aspects of crypto and current legal issues and developments. This course will also cover the history of financial systems and their evolution to the current financial landscape. This course will explore the origins of money, banking, lending, derivatives and other financial transactions. With this knowledge as a backdrop, this course will address the current topics of DeFi, stablecoins, and other current products.
