A two-semester, faculty-supervised honors sequence culminating in an original thesis. Students develop a research question and design, engage relevant scholarly literature, and complete planned data collection and analysis. Regular meetings with a faculty supervisor support research progress, analytic decisions, professional standards of evidence, and writing. The sequence concludes with submission of the completed thesis and an oral presentation of the project’s argument, methods, and contributions.
